Been reading Kraken by China Mieville lately and found this little ditty that had me chuckling:

Little things like that made my chuckle. The world Mieville's created is absolutely insane! I found it quite difficult to get into whenever I picked it up, but once I passed that initial wall I really enjoyed it.

@Jamie - I'm not too far into it yet, but I'm diggin' it so far. I wish I had more time, but this week's been insane. And there's so much more to read! I completely regret picking The Passage (even though it's been good), it's just one more huge book. Sorry.
